” Your destiny is between your hands. “

These were the words of Minister of Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management Inia Seruiratu to students at Christian Mission Fellowship (CMF) College in Nasinu when he visited them last week.

“You don’t have to be rich to be successful, but this is how you make the most of your opportunities,” he said.

“You will only reap what you sow. “

He encouraged 12th and 13th grade students to work hard and excel in school in accordance with the expectations of their parents, teachers, the school, and the government as a whole.

“There will always be problems but there are always solutions,” he said.

“One of the challenges of solving the problems we face on a daily basis is education. Education is the door, education is the key.

Mr. Seruiratu encouraged students to be visionaries in determining their goals in life.

He reminded the students that as members of an institution, they should align themselves with the disciplinary culture imposed by the institution.

Teachers, he said, had set standards and students had to follow their leaders to achieve the school’s mission and vision.

“Live a disciplined life and be a very good citizen of this country. Remember that self-discipline is very important, it will take you a long way.
