Church offering a Thanksgiving meal
The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will be offering a free Thanksgiving dinner to those in need from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on November 25 at 1127 Beatty Ave., Cambridge. There will be no meal delivery this year, and there will be no meals served on site.
Monetary donations can be sent to First Christian Church, 1127 Beatty Ave., Cambridge, with Thanksgiving Dinner written on the memo line. For more information, call the church at 740-432-5923.

The local East Muskingum School Board will meet Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the John Glenn High School Library, 13115 John Glenn School Road, New Concord.
Patrol investigates I-77 crash
At 4:29 p.m. on November 3, a 2016 Ford F-150 driven by Jordan Burkhart, 29, Delroy, was heading north on Interstate 77 near mile post 50 when it exited on the right side of the road. pavement and hit a ditch. The Ford climbed an embankment and rolled over before coming to rest against the back of a guardrail. Burkhart was pulled from the heavily damaged truck by mechanical means. He refused medical treatment at the scene. Burkhart was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.
Bethlehem March scheduled for November
The Bethlehem Walk to Chandlersville will take place November 26-28 from 6 to 9 p.m. It is an outdoor recreation of Bethlehem on the night of Jesus’ birth. The event takes place at various locations around Chandlersville. The Chandlersville United Methodist is where visitors will wait to begin the journey.
Barnesville Save A Lot renovated
Save A Lot announced it has renovated the interior and exterior of its Barnesville store at 801 E. Main St. The renovation included new decor, wider aisles, new interior and exterior paint and a new counter. deli. The stores in Barnesville are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Rating committee meeting
The Guernsey County Issue I Assessment Committee will meet at 8 a.m. on Wednesday at the Engineer’s Office, 62782 Bennett Ave. in Cambridge, to review all local county projects.
